Pend Oreille County

This evening we split up into committees for our resolutions. Each group got to research their topic for seven minutes with their partners, and then spend 2 minutes presenting the topic. Studies have shown that people have better long term memory when researching under a time limit. So by participating in that exercise our group now has a better understanding of each topic researched. Pend Oreille County KYG is looking forward to the trip to Olympia and we are working hard!

December 18th update

Second meeting of the year! During our meeting we discussed many different ideas for new resolutions to add to our platform. Deciding on our final resolutions is going to be difficult and will require plenty of research from our KYG group here in Pend Oreille. This afternoon we heard from a local County Commissioner to give us some perspective on the branches of government and parliamentary procedures.
